Training and Support Specialist
TRAINING AND SUPPORT SPECIALIST. Wyatt, Tarrant, & Combs, LLP, voted one of the Best Employers in Tennessee, has an opening in our Nashville office for a Training and Application Support Specialist to provide application training and help desk support. Primary responsibility is to provide on-going training and assistance to employees regarding software. Individual must maintain excellent knowledge of all Firm-owned software, which includes, Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003, and Exchange/Outlook.
Must have excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills. 5+ years of computer support experience is required. Law firm experience preferred. Some travel required. Salary commensurate with experience & education.
Skill Set:
Expertise in Microsoft Office 2003 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access;
Expertise in Internet Explorer;
Expertise in Document management systems;
Expertise in portal applications;
Expertise in operating systems;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Ability to communicate with attorneys and staff in a non-technical manner;
Ability to use distance learning technologies to effectively deliver training;
Promptly answers calls from users regarding questions or troubleshooting the following representative issues (partial list):
application functionality/usability,
problems with applications,
hardware problems (defective monitor, keyboard, mouse, CPU or other component),
printing problems,
network access problems,
software installation requests,
PC/laptop upgrade requests,
loaner laptop requests,
loaner PDA request,
Assist with imaging and deployment of new PCs and laptops,
Manage and maintain computer inventory,
Develop and review Training Curriculum,
Construction of Training Materials and Handouts,
Construction of eLearning Modules,
Provide training on Firm applications on a routine basis,
Some travel required

Network Engineer
Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP, recently voted one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky, has an open position for a Network Engineer in our Louisville, KY office. The Network Engineer will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent technical and leadership experience as well as appropriate technical certifications. He or she will possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with customers from all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task are required components of the job.
The key responsibilities of the Network Engineer will be to design enterprise level solutions that support the current and future strategic direction of the firm. The areas of focus include design, implementation, documentation and support of a MPLS WAN, Cisco LAN, remote access systems, WAN acceleration systems, video conferencing systems, and Internet connectivity.
